Ibero Winery brings together three generations of the Natroshvili family, united in their dedication to preserving and advancing the traditions of Georgian winemaking. Established by Shota Natroshvili in the village of Vachnadziani in 2002, the winery has remained steadfast in its commitment to minimal intervention in natural processes, both in the vineyard and the cellar. Over time, Shota's sons expanded the winery's offerings by introducing the Ibero brand to the local market and adding two native grape varieties, Kisi and Kakhuri Mtsvane, to their production, thereby deepening their ties to the region's rich viticultural heritage.
Today, the winery is operated by Shota’s grandsons, who, with the support of the entire family, continue to uphold and share Georgian winemaking traditions with the world. Visitors to Ibero Winery can observe firsthand the seamless collaboration of three generations, a testament to the enduring strength of family unity and the preservation of ancient Georgian winemaking practices.
