Juka-Sano's Marani, established in 2017 by husband and wife duo Tako Juruli and Zurab Sanodze, is a testament to their passion for viticulture and winemaking. Since 2018, the winery has proudly been a member of the "Association of Natural Wine," reflecting their commitment to producing organic wines.
This small, family-run winery specializes in crafting limited quantities of exceptional wine, with 90% of their production being exported to discerning markets in European countries. Marani also grows and makes wine with the extremely rare grape variety Ikaltos Tsiteli, adding a unique dimension to their offerings.
Juka-Sano's Marani adheres to traditional Georgian winemaking techniques, using Qvevris made in 1907 to ferment their wine with the skins. After fermentation, the wine is carefully transferred to stainless steel tanks, ensuring a perfect blend of tradition and modernity.
Location: Ruispiri, Kakheti, Georgia
Annual production: 1000 bottles
