Since 2018, Kaloubani, founded by Davit Germanozashvili, has been crafting wines from Chinuri, Goruli Mtsvane, Kisi, Saperavi, and Tavkveri grapes grown in terraced vineyards in Kaloubani, Kaspi district, on the Trialeti Ridge. The vineyard is maintained with manual labor, ensuring meticulous care and quality.
The vineyard has adhered strictly to biodynamic principles since 2015, focusing on soil health with biodynamic preparations and avoiding chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Vineyard care follows lunar phases, using natural solutions like nettle infusions and garlic decoctions for pest control.
