Anto was established on April 8, 2021, in memory of Anton, the brother of founders Ana and Giorgi Jamelashvili. The winery, named "Anto" in his honor, is a family-run operation where everyone, including both adults and children, participates in the wine production and sales process. Despite their professional backgrounds being unrelated to winemaking, Giorgi completed an extensive course in winemaking technology, while Ana trained as a professional wine taster.
Situated in the picturesque Tana River Valley in Kartli, in the village of Kvemo Boshnuri at an elevation of 1250 meters. The majority of their grapes are sourced from family-owned vineyards in Tserovani, Tkviavi, and Avlevi, with additional grapes purchased from the Kakheti region. The winery is equipped with state-of-the-art technology throughout the production process, focusing on crafting distinctive and original wines.
