Villa Chven is located at an elevation of 610 meters on south-facing slopes in the foothills of the Caucasus Mountains, the woman-owned vineyards of Villa Chven cultivate indigenous red and white grape varieties that have been central to Georgian winemaking for thousands of years. The rocky soil, combined with cold, snowy winters and hot summer days, results in grapes with a elegant character and complex flavors
Winery is part of a new wave of wineries emerging in Racha, dedicated to reviving the original quality and complexity of the region's wines by allowing natural, full fermentation and aging. This approach creates elegant, dry red and white wines that cater to the tastes of a modern, sophisticated audience. The winery’s Reserve Collection, aged in French oak barrels, further enhances the wines by softening their texture and bringing out richer, layered flavors, showcasing the remarkable potential of wines from this unique region.
