Ruispiri Estate founded by the Chkheidze family, is located in Ruispiri, near Telavi. The estate includes vineyards, a winery, a cellar, a tasting room, and a hotel. They combine tradition and modern technology to produce premium wines, focusing on authentic Georgian winemaking through both classical and Qvevri methods. Grapes are hand-picked, sorted, and processed using advanced equipment, with fermentation and aging taking place in stainless steel tanks, Qvevris, and French oak barrels.
The 18-hectare vineyard spans two distinct micro-terroirs, Janaani and Alexauri, which lend unique qualities to the wines. Using native Georgian grape varieties such as Kisi, Saperavi, and Rkatsiteli, Ruispiri produces red, white, and amber wines. Their limited edition wines aged in French oak highlight the depth and complexity of the region's terroir.
