Nasrashvili Family Winery was founded in 2017 with the goal of continuing the centuries-old tradition of winemaking in the Nasrashvili family and carving out a unique niche for Georgian wine in the diverse wine industry. The winery aims to revive ancient Georgian grape varieties and introduce them to a broader audience. This mission is carried out on the family-owned vineyard, which spans 7 hectares in the Sighnaghi region, in the village of Khirsa.
The winery primarily produces wines using Qvevri method, but also incorporates traditional European techniques. The combination of these approaches ensures a distinctive expression of the region’s terroir and the ancient grape varieties grown on the estate.
