Gremisio is located on the western outskirts of the village of Eniseli, near the 16th-century royal citadel and church of Gremi. The vineyards are rooted in alluvial slate soils and shaped by a dramatic diurnal range, with scorching daytime heat followed by cool mountain nights. This sharp contrast, driven by the nearby Caucasus Mountains, slows ripening and helps preserve acidity, allowing the grapes to develop depth, structure, and aromatic clarity. The estate focuses on rare Georgian grape varieties, some nearly forgotten and others barely cultivated, grown with minimal intervention to let the terroir speak.
