David Leladze Family Winery

The David Leladze's Family Winery, one of the oldest in the Imeteri region, has been cultivating and processing grapes for more than a hundred years.

Already 4 generations of this family, since 1900, have kept the traditions of winemaking, continuing the work of their ancestors. David and his family take care of the vineyards on their own and carefully bring the grapes to the state of wine, as ancient traditions dictate. The terroirs of the Imereti wine region, in which this winery is located, are famous for their fertile soil and favorable climate for organic and healthy grape growth. David is particularly proud of the fact that he makes sure that his vines are grown organically - he uses only biological products and avoids any harmful chemical fertilizers. When working in the cellar, the winemaker uses pitchers and a press made of hazelnut wood from 1900, just like his great-grandfather.

The family winery of David Leladze is a small, but conscientious enterprise, whose team puts quality above quantity. They produce only 7,000 bottles of wine a year. It is noteworthy that their Dry Pink wine Aladasturi received a silver medal at the International Rose Championship in 2021.
