Nine Oaks, founded in 2016 near the village of Eniseli in Kakheti’s Kindzmarauli subzone, cultivates estate-grown grapes on 22 hectares of biodiverse land. Located at 400 meters above sea level, bordered by the Alazani River and the Caucasus Mountains, the estate practices organic farming without chemicals, relying only on copper, sulfur, and organic fertilizers to care for the vines. Their winemaking philosophy emphasizes natural, slow processes with minimal intervention, staying true to the traditions of their ancestors.
Known for exotic amber wines and rare “black wine,” Nine Oaks crafts each bottle using low-sulfur, wild yeast, and no added sugars or artificial inputs. The amber wines are made from white grape varieties, while their black wine features the bold and inky Saperavi grape. With a mission to share Georgia’s winemaking heritage, Nine Oaks embodies the art, craft, and science of wine, inviting the world to experience the extraordinary character of Georgian wines.
